£21,450 – £38,810 per annum (pay depends on experience and/or qualifications)

Easter until the end of the academic year

About the role

To be successful in this role you will have strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication skills. The school is looking for someone who is positive and confident, someone who can inspire their learners and integrate into the teaching team quickly. The role is full time, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:00.

Part of a multi-academy trust, this Barnsley based primary school is easily accessible via public transport from Barnsley Interchange or for drivers there is onsite parking.


To be considered for the role of Year 3 Teacher (Full Time) you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary education, preferably within Lower KS2
  • A genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary teachers
  • A passion for working with children and helping them to grow and succeed
  • Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A DBS that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undergo a new check)
  • A minimum of Level 1 Safeguarding certificate (or be willing to undertake new training)

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
