Tutorial Team Leader

Barnsley College are seeking a Tutorial Team Leader to manage a dedicated group of 5 Personal Progress Mentors to provide academic and pastoral support for our A level students. This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to step up into a pastoral management role, where you will oversee all tutorial programmes and lead on safeguarding related matters.
Our new Tutorial Team Leader will oversee study skills support whilst working with a team of Curriculum Leaders to maintain supervision of academic progress. You will hold weekly departmental meetings to ensure Personal Progress Mentors are up to date with their caseloads and provide opportunity to raise any concerns or matters of discussion.
This role requires someone who is adaptable, personable and who puts students at the heart of what they do. Our Tutorial Team Leader post would suit someone who has high expectations and is able to lead a team of staff to deliver successful outcomes.
