Trainee Industrial Radiographer – S73 8AR – £19,000 to £22,000 Full Time Permanent We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Industrial Radiographer to join a well established, Non Destructive Testing Company based in S73 Barnsley. As a Trainee you will work alongside an experienced Radiographer who will support you in your training and career development. Working with a range of clients including those in sectors such as gas, foundry, manufacturing and more, this role offers a great opportunity for career growth and progression with the company. Monday Friday Afters OR Nights shift: Afters 2pm – 10pm Nights 10pm – 6am £19,000 to £22,000 per annum Benefits: Onsite Parking Lots of overtime available (paid at a higher rate) On the job training / in-house qualifications in radiography Duties: Assist qualified Radiographers in day-to-day testing of components. Preparing Components for Inspection. Assisting with Light & Dark Room Duties. General Housekeeping. Work in a safe manner and comply with site health and safety rules to ensure own and others safety at all times. Requirements: Previous experience of Radiographic examination would be a benefit but not essential as training will be provided. Good communication skills. Good understanding of basic maths. Excellent time management and organisational skills are a must. Experience using both overhead Cranes & Fork trucks would be an advantage. Ability to work using own initiative, as well as within a team. Methodical & able to follow instruction. Yearly medical via the company to check on your wellbeing. Due to the nature of the work involved applicants may be asked to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.
