I am working with a fantastic engineering contractor in Barnsley who are looking for a Tender Coordinator with a technical/engineering background to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background working within projects for building services/heavy engineering and a grasp on Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

Job role:
Responsible for supporting the tendering and sales processes within tehcnical and sales departments. Working with the bid team to ensure all tenders have been prepared and submitted within compliance format. This includes customer liaison through a sales process, using direct contact to send and receive communications and using customer portals. (representing a customer perspective within the company to ensure alignment to the changing customer needs)

Job requirements:

At least 3 years’ experience of a similar role
Working within or experience of a manufacturing or engineering environment
Experienced in producing Technical Tender submissions.
Knowledge of using customer tender portals.
Able to demonstrate a planned approach to managing deadlines.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project etc
Tender leadership & coordination.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
