*Full time permanent position Monday – Friday*

*Salary of £19,305 – £20,865 pa (working term time only, salary paid over 12 months)*

Are you *enthusiastic*, *dedicated*and *resilient*, we are looking for new teaching assistants to work in our alternative provisions.

A back ground in education, residential child care, Pupil referral units or learning disabilities would be ideal for this role, but not essential.

We aim to provide creative ways to teach and inspire children and young people who really need positive role models in their lives to support their learning.

You will be working with children and young people who can at times be challenging but we all know once a child feels safe and cared for they are much more receptive but this takes time

You will be committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment where children and young people know adults are not going to give up on them.

We want our teaching assistants to compliment the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities across school and with specific pupils. This may involve delivering learning programmes and support to individual students, small groups and on a short-term basis to whole classes

You need to be able to work flexibly in supporting the children, this may include off site learning.
