There are many other stand out features about the school beyond the obvious, the first being their staff retention. It is genuinely rare to see teachers move on from the school, resulting in a strong workforce who appreciate each other’s strengths, skills and abilities, and build each other up. The school is accessible from Sheffield, Barnsley and other surrounding areas, taking the stress of amute away.

The departments link well, creating some innovative learning collaborations, particularly with the integrated SEND provision.
