Senior Civil Engineering Technician – S75 1HA – £35,000 to £45,000 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join a growing business specialising in the Building Structures field, offering more than 30 years of award winning experience of both design and construction. As a Senior Civil Engineering Technician you will be based at the Barnsley office along with the opportunity to work from home twice per week, offering flexible working to suit your lifestyle. If you have a high attention to detail, are interested in working on large scale projects across multiple sectors and have experience in the use of Autodesk Revit and Civils 3D then the role of Senior Civil Engineering Technician may be for you! Benefits; £35,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience 20 Days annual leave + bank holidays (28 days in total) Hybrid working with 2 days working from home Monday to Friday No weekends Private medical insurance Networking and CPD opportunities including career progression Free on-site parking On site Bistro The role; As a Senior Civil Engineering Technician roles and responsibilities will include; Using Autodesk Revit and Civils 3D to produce general arrangement drawings and details for bridges, stations, buildings, flood alleviation and more Undertaking detailing at a minimum BIM Level 2 standard, coordinating Revit models and information from subcontractors Managing technicians and checking drawings to ISO 19650 Managing the companies ISO 9001 quality management system Client facing and attending design team meetings Ensuring project deadlines and budgets are achieved Uphold a strict quality standard of work Abiding by ISO9001 and 19650 requirements Communicating effectively with clients, supply chains, stakeholders and colleagues Skills & Experience Required; Experience in the use of Autodesk Revit and Civils 3D Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
