An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Section Manager to join our growing friendly team, at Niftylift.The role is based at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Hoyland, Barnsley.

We require an experienced Section Manager from within the manufacturing environment with an understanding of lean manufacturing techniques and understanding of fabrication, welding and machining operations. You will lead a lead a team to achieve a high quality product within a world class manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide day to day management of specified Production Value Streams in line with Niftylift production procedures and standards.

Manage and develop people, aligned to Niftylift Policies and Procedures.

Continuously Improve a safe working environment for all employee in line with ISO45001 and Niftylift 5S Standards, ensuring all areas of responsibility are legally compliant.

Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving through out all levels of the Hoyland site

Working Hours:

40 Hours per week

Day Shift – Hours will be 07.30 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday & Friday 07:30 – 13.30

Night Shift – Hours will be 20.00 – 06.00 Monday – Thursday (Night shift premium applicable)

Plus additional monthly bonus aligned to business performance that equates to total bonus payments of £280 – £350 per month on average (for reference only).

Pay & Benefits:

Annual bonus (for indication only) based on recent average £500 per annum.

Experience:

·Qualification in Management to ILM 2 or CMI 2 or proven experience in a senior position in Production/ Manufacturing

·Computer literate in Microsoft office and manufacturing software systems. (ERP/ SAP)

·Fabrication/ Welding background preferred but not essential
