    Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week
    £19,712 per annum

    An experienced Science Technician is needed to support a high performing team at Barnsley 6th Form College. The Science team prides itself on having exceptional staff, students and support. Due to the promotion of the current Technician, a replacement is needed to ensure all students continue to receive the best quality of support provision for their practical work. The candidate must be highly organised have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as having good knowledge and experience of working within a science field.

    Our new Science Technician will work across the Biology Chemistry and Physics provisions to support staff to deliver an outstanding learner experience, that supports the development of skills knowledge and behaviours for students to progress to their desired next steps. We are looking for someone that is learner centred and willing to go the extra mile to support students to achieve their very best.
