About Dearnevale: Dearnevale supports 44 adults living with complex physical healthcare needs and mild mental health conditions. The home has four ten-bed units, which gives it a homely and welcoming feel, and a One Care service which provides nursing care in a domestic environment, for those whose needs require they live alone. Dearnevale is rated Outstanding with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and has a review score of 10 out of 10 The home is also Huntingtons Disease Association Quality Assured. In 2021, the homes Life Skills Team and one of the homes Unit Managers reached the finals of the Great British Care Awards. Our approach to nursing focuses on maximising independence, building everyday living skills and empowering people to live as fulfilled lives as possible, which means that youll be delivering truly person-centred and holistic care in a community-based home. Youll work in a close team and build good working relationships with the people you support so youll be able to see the difference you make each and every day. About You: – You will be a Registered Nurse and will have a valid NMC pin – You will provide warmth, enthusiasm and compassion when providing care to our service users – You will always strive to provide great quality holistic care, making every day better than the last; promoting our core values, maintaining independence and dignity to our service users – You will be a team player, demonstrating outstanding communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective team work as part of a multi-disciplined team – Youll be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality – Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable, but are not essential About Your Career: Were committed to investing in our colleagues.
