Role: Purchasing Administrator

Daily generation of stock orders and subsequent processes including follow up acknowledgements. Ensuring the timely delivery of all outstanding purchase orders and update the operating system with latest information when available Administration of back orders to meet production and customer demand. Processing of overhead and GFOU orders Timely resolution of purchase ledger invoice queries Obtaining quotes for new products and materials from established suppliers. Maintain product and supplier specific purchasing data in the ERP system. Good telephone and email communication skills when dealing with suppliers both UK and overseas. Experience with importing from both Europe and worldwide. Consolidation of shipments from multiple suppliers by Air, Sea and Road. Adherence to stocking policies, processes and procedures as defined by the purchasing authority matrix, ERIKS QMS and guidance from the Supply Chain Manager Maintaining good housekeeping of physical and data stores for a safe and efficient working environment Proficient in word, outlook and especially excel. Communicate well with colleagues in all departments and sites.
