Overview:
In this role you will be the business partner for our 3 Product Managers within the Masonite aligned planning process. Collaborating with the team, to manage internal and external customer expectations.
Key responsibilities:
Looking over the team, manage the customer expectations, build a project plan, manage the delivery of outcomes, schedule tasks, and delegate assignments.
Taking the lead role in championing and deploying the stage gate process and tools to enhance risk management, resource management, reporting and project success
Leading in the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management, implementations and process within the business.
Being integral in building out business plans in order to meet both the business level and product category level strategic goals.
Ensuring that cross functional projects work well.
Standardising and introducing economies of repetition in the execution of projects.
Monitoring documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution.
Establishing the stage gate tools, criteria and templates to enable all major projects to be managed through the stage gate process.
Providing a sounding board and appropriate feedback to the leaders of these projects.
Overseeing all project work ensuring risks are flagged to the key stakeholders.
Manage the process for recording, escalating and mitigating project risks and issues.
About you!
Track record in B2B manufacturing business.
Stage gate experience and leadership is essential
Background in engineering preferred
Project management experience gained within large complex organisations.
Proven track record of strategic and operational planning, project design and leading the on-time delivery of development and integration projects within the allocated budgets.
Experience of budget setting, management and control.
Experience of representing an organization externally at a senior level.
Experience of managing and delivering change.
Experience of managing external contracts.
