The role of a Pastoral Lead includes, providing students with the strategies, support and tools they need in order to be/become the best version of themselves. As a Pastoral Lead you will, plan, lead and provide effective interventions for at risk students. You will monitor student progression and evaluate intervention efficiency. The role is for an immediate start. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – Barnsley Position – Pastoral Welfare Lead Start Date – ASAP End Date – N/A Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing Full time/Part-time – Full Time Contract Type: Long term Hours – 08:30AM – 4:00PM The Minimum Rate of Pay – £100 per day.EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in a school or similar setting. Pastoral Support experience (desired) Designated Safeguarding Lead experience Intervention Conducting SEMH support experience TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS A Levels Relevant qualifications/training related to SEMH, SEN, Pastoral or similar Team Teach Trained TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional referencesOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
