Paint Sprayer & Preparation Technician S74 – £24,000-£27,000PA Full Time – Permanent We are currently looking for Paint Sprayer & Preparation Technicians to join a world leading machinery manufacturer in the S74 area of Barnsley. The Paint Sprayer & Preparation Technician Role requires an energetic team player who has proven experience, skills and knowledge within paint preparation. Day Shift: Hours will be 07.30 – 16.30 Monday Thursday & Friday 07:30 13.00 (with regular structured overtime). Night Shift: Hours will be 20:00 06:00 Monday Thursday (with regular structured overtime). Guaranteed basic starting salary £11.74 x 40 hours per week plus guaranteed minimum £40 per week bonus – £26,499.20 plus structured overtime paid at premium rates. Benefits: Annual bonus (for indication only) based on recent average £500 per annum. 25 days holiday (increases with service, up to 30 days), plus bank holidays. Operating shot-blasting and paint equipment. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area. Responsible for preparation for spraying including cleaning and taping up along with general preparation. Requirements: Previous experience of wet paint spraying. Working with a range of fabrications and shot blasting, along with preparation for spraying. You must be a strong team player but have the confidence to work on your own initiative too.
