Music teacher required with immediate effect

Are you an enthusiastic Music teacher looking for next role in education?

Tradewind are in need of an experienced music teacher to start with immediate effect in Barnsley. The role is full-time and will continue on an ongoing basis.

The successful music teacher will be required to teach across key stage 3 and key stage 4 in a variety of mixed ability classes and should have a good understanding of the national curriculum. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons, set assignments to assess the student’s progression and report on student development.

The school is focused on providing a consistently high standard of teaching and has been praised for its behaviour management policies and inclusive approach to students. You will be joining an extremely knowledgeable and supportive performing arts department with access to an array of resources to support your transition into the school. The school can be accessed by public transport with bus stops located just outside the school. There is also a large onsite car park for staff.

Essential requirements:

DBS on the update system, Legal right to work in the UK, qualified teacher status.
