Futures manufacturing are looking to appoint a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to work for a fast paced manufacturing business in Barnsley. As a Multi-skilled Maintenance engineer you will be responsible for machinery breakdowns, reducing downtime and working to a planned maintenance schedule.
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer / Engineer / PPM / Manufacturing / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Fault Finding
Roles and responsibilities:
- Ability to work on a variety of machines
- Adhere to health & safety, and safety procedures
- Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work
- Happy to work shifts (mornings, days, nights)
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a small team
- Maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery
- Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM’s) on all machinery
- Work closely with a team of engineers
- Attending to machinery breakdowns
- Ability to fault find
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified to min NVQ / C&G Level 3 in engineering
- 17th/18th edition
- Management or team leader experience is desirable
- Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
