Our client is looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team with immediate effect! Salary: £41,121 Location: Barnsley Hours: Monday to Friday – days and afters on rotation A few of the many benefits: * Well established, financially stable company * Advantageous pay * Pay increase from April * Holiday buy back scheme * Discounts on products * Overtime paid at time and a half Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer: * Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance * Completing relevant paperwork on a daily basis * Attending to breakdowns * Maintaining good standards of housekeeping on a regular basis * Assisting site contractors where necessary * Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed * Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures, wearing correct PPE at all times * Fault finding on PLC’s such as Siemans and Mitzubishi * Working on machinery such as slicers, thermoformers, metal detectors, check weighers, vac pumps, conveyors, labeller Desired experience: * You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained or equivalent) * Must have sound Mechanical Maintenance knowledge * It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential * Ideally have 3 years experience within in a similar environment with machinery such as slicers, multivacs, and thermoformers * Must have a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures in the work place * Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG environment previously * Clean driving license * Ideally have a Level 2 in Food Hygiene but not essential For further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation.
