Metal Specialist
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a bespoke business who are on the lookout for a hard working Metal Specialist.
You will be taken under the wing of experts within the Metal Recycling industry offering support and training to ensure you have a successful, long-term career.
Benefits:

Overhead crane and FLT training provided on site
Pay Rate / Hours:
£22,953.84 – £24,897.60 per year
Monday to Friday (rotating) 6:30am – 2:30pm & 2pm – 11pm
+ Overtime:
Saturday: Time & Half
Sunday: Double Time
Main duties of the job:
Use of an overhead crane to move and separate metal waste
Sortation of raw materials in the yard to ensure copper, lead, rubber and various other materials are separated
Picking materials from a production belt to ensure the purest amounts of copper are passed through to production
Complete final quality checks to ensure ONLY the purest forms of copper are fed through to the granulator
Bagging up copper granules ready for dispatch
Ensure the working area is kept clean and tidy as possible at all times
Various other duties may be required once trained
Skills Required
Successful candidates MUST be looking for a long-term career
Previous experience within a yard, scrap or recycling environment would be ideal but not essential
Own transport would be a benefit due to location
Resilient ‘can do’ attitude
Excellent eye for detail
