Details of the role:Location: Barnsley, with travel to local sites within the borough on an ad hoc basis.Working Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.Salary: £40 – 45k per annum dependant on experience.The Role:An exciting opportunity has become available to lead a growing HR team at a healthcare business based in Barnsley.We are looking for candidates who are agile, influential, collaborative, pro-active and results driven. You will have a level 7 CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) and possess excellent business acumen.This is a truly generalist role which provides a great opportunity for a professional to grow their skills within a fast-paced supportive environment. We are seeking someone with a breadth and depth of experience of working as a standalone HR Business Partner.In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and solutions focussed service across all employment issues that adds value and is in line with our strategic aims, objectives, and business plans.Key duties:* Support the business in formulating HR strategies, policies and plans in all areas of HR, and understand the priorities, challenges, and key drivers in order to influence all key decisions.* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.* Coach and support line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensure managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.* Provide a recruitment and selection service in order to meet the Company’s resourcing needs in a cost-effective manner.* Develop and implement initiatives to drive retention and engagement strategies.* Keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law and to be pro-active in ensuring managers are appropriately briefed on relevant changes in new legislation.* Manage performance processes, appraisals, and training and development requirements for the organisation.About the companyEmploying over 250 members of staff, the team is ambitious, inclusive and passionate about enhancing the provision of healthcare within the area.
