Role: Domestic Gas Engineer Location: Barnsley Salary: £33,800 – based on 37hr week + Company Van Package: Pension Scheme 26 days annual leave (+ public holidays) Power Tools provided Sick Pay Cycle to work scheme Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programme Our Client is responsible for managing a huge Housing portfolio in Barnsley and are looking for numerous Domestic Gas Engineer to work on Social Housing projects As an Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber you will be entrusted with all aspects of Plumbing working including Installation, repair work and service and maintenance. Duties: Carry out all aspects of plumbing work including installation, repairs and maintenance on all of our managed properties Potentially working with water pipes, sink units, water closets (toilets), baths, showers wash basins and waste pipes Have an understanding relating to the installation of different types of central heating systems including Solid Fuel appliances, Natural Gas appliances, LPG appliances, Air Source Heat pumps and unvented systems Be conversant with materials, pipe and fittings used in the Plumbing & Heating industry Carry out fault finding, repairs, service and installations Carry out repairs, service and installations to unvented hot water systems and renewable energy systems · Liaise and assist other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, etc Maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that service efficiency is achieved Work at heights using he necessary safety equipment Submit all worksheets and documents relating to the job Required Qualifications: Level 2 or equivalent qualified Gas Plumber CCN1 Core Gas Safety and appliance modules to include CPA1 Experienced in testing and inspecting (servicing/repairing) gas appliances and heating systems Experience of diagnostic testing and fault finding Experience of working with renewable technologies Experience in the use of mobile and digital technology for the receiving and completing of work This is a great opportunity to join a hugely established company on a very stable contract.
