As a *Care Assistant *with Guinness, you will find the role is like home care, where you deliver care to the customer in their own home, on their terms, just the way you would wish for your own family, but with the added benefit of being in one location.
As a Care Assistant with Guinness, you will be helping our customers with a variety of tasks from personal care (help with showering/dressing/toileting), meal preparation, medication household tasks, attending appointments and shopping. Whilst you are assisting with these practical tasks, you will naturally be providing companionship and emotional support which are more important than ever!
*What you need to work as a Care Assistant with Guinness:*
* To be comfortable supporting customers with personal care which includes toileting, bathing and dressing.
* To be available to work shifts between 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm, including alternate weekends (both days) You will work early shifts one week and late shifts the next.
* Above all, you need *a real desire to care for others* and *make a real difference* to their quality of life.
The work will predominantly be within *Fitzwilliam Court,* Bethel Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 9JZ, but you need to be flexible to cover shifts at *Westmeads*, Meadstead Drive, Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S71 4PT
