Belmont Recruitment currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Administrator to join Barnsley Council’s Business Support Service on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Duties will include: * Dealing with incoming telephone enquiries and providing advice and support to internal and external customers as required * Processing a range of referrals/requests for customer applications * Inputting, recording, checking, and maintaining a variety of computer and paper-based systems * Organising meetings and taking accurate minutes on a laptop * Undertaking financial administration tasks such as placing orders, raising sales orders, paying invoices, and updating files Requirements: * Previous experience of working within business administration, ideally within a Local Authority * Experience of taking minutes at meetings * Ability to use MS Office, SharePoint and other IT systems * Excellent organisational and communication skills Location – Westgate Plaza, Barnsley, S70 Hours – 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday If you have a background in administration and you’re looking for a new challenge, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible or contact Chloe at Belmont Recruitment
